Solution



Following a successful installation of Symantec System Recovery 2011 and server restart, clicking on next during the welcome wizard causes the E1AD3212 to appear (Figure 1).

Manually register SPNREGISTER.DLL using the following command:
 
1. On a 64 bit Operating System

REGSVR32  ":\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec System Recovery\Agent\spnregister.dll"
 
2. On a 32 bit Operating System
 
REGSVR32 ":\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec System Recovery\Agent\spnregister.dll"
